Rome II, Hungarian and Danish versions: does the review clause ask for more than the other versions?

The Hungarian and Danish texts of Article 30(1) add a sentence that the other versions do not have: the report shall in particular examine non-contractual obligations arising out of traffic accidents and violations of privacy and rights relating to personality, including defamation.

Consequence

No change to the applicable law; the review clause asks for more in two versions.

Proposed correction

The lawyer-linguists could say whether the wording should be aligned with the other versions: align Hungarian and Danish Article 30(1) with the other versions.

Den ungarske og den danske tekst af artikel 30, stk. 1, tilføjer en sætning, som de andre versioner ikke har: rapporten skal navnlig omhandle forpligtelser uden for kontrakt, der udspringer af trafikulykker og af krænkelser af privatlivets fred og individets rettigheder, herunder ærekrænkelser.

Consequence

Den lov, der skal anvendes, ændres ikke; revisionsbestemmelsen kræver mere i to versioner.

Proposed correction

Juristlingvisterne kunne tage stilling til, om ordlyden bør bringes i overensstemmelse med de andre sprogversioner: bringe artikel 30, stk. 1, i den ungarske og den danske version i overensstemmelse med de andre versioner.
