ARXO-2026-0012 · Accepted by the addressee
eCFR shows $7,455 in 11 CFR 111.24(b); the January 2025 rule sets $7,445
The same 2025 rule replaces the first amount in paragraph (b) with $7,445; this is also the figure its table derives from $7,256. The eCFR shows $7,455 in its versions as of 31 December 2025 and 20 October 2026: the amendment was incorporated with two digits transposed.
Consequence
The eCFR overstates the maximum penalty under paragraph (b) by $10. No penalty actually assessed on the eCFR figure is claimed.
Proposed correction
$7,445, as set by the rule.
